Last Sunday we had a lovely Father’s Day. Amy made pancakes for breakfast (after Daddy had to make an emergency trip into work). Then for lunch we drove to Gerringong and had lunch at Bellcharra. It was our first time here and it was great. We were seated outside in the nice sunshine (glad we weren’t inside as it was very noisy). After a delicious lunch the girls were able to play on the play equipment for the kids club. They had a great time. We all did. It was expensive but great for a special day such as Father’s Day. I’m certain we will be back.

On Wednesday the kids had a “Jump Off” to raise money for the Heart Foundation. I got to go and watch them (in between time working on Canteen). Both girls were so cute and have come along so much with the skipping over the last few months.

I’ve been wondering today if the hospital will accept returns. Yes, I know I’ve had the product for nearly 6 years but right now it’s not performing as expected.
The gorgeous girl above has really been misbehaving lately. Speaking back, yelling, slamming doors, hitting her sister, refusing to go to dance lessons, and generally being difficult. Don’t know what’s going on with her. At the moment we’re doing Supernanny and sending her to the naughty corner or refusing to allow her to go to Nan’s. I must say it’s hard to get excited about her party on Sunday when she’s being such a contrary little Miss. Hope it ends soon - I keep ending up in tears cause I just don’t know what to do with her.

Well it was a week ago today (so the 18th AUgust) that I made the decision I wanted to have WLS. I rang dh’s doctor and made appointment for the 19th Sept. I am very excited. It will be wonderful to finally lose this weight once and for all. A major part of the reason is that after following BFL fairly religiously for 12 weeks I have only lost 4.5kg. And yes, while it’s made a big difference to how I look, it’s very demoralizing to have lost such a small amount of weight after working so hard - both with exercise and food. I am currently in my 2nd week of eating out control again and know I need to turn things around ASAP before I gain those kg back again. At this stage I’m probably looking at surgery in early Dec so I’ve got 3 months to look after things myself. But I’m back to the old “I’ll be good again tomorrow” - which is exactly why I need WLS,

Well, I’m quite excited about Bruce Springsteen’s new album “Magic”- which comes out early October. There is a preview video clip on Amazon and it’s fantastic. Can’t wait to hear the rest. And it’s extra exciting cause he’s back with the E-Street Band. Yay!!!!

Here’s a couple of photos taken on Friday morning. Now that the weather is warming up Rosie and I will return to our early morning bike rides. However, now that I also go to the gym a couple mornings a week we will have to go even earlier. I don’t think Rosie will be complaining.
