We started Sunday with a lovely leisurely breakfast overlooking Manly beach. We couldn’t believe how many people were out walking and spotted a number of Goldies :-).
It was a beautiful day in Sydney and it was nice that the sat. nav. decided to bring us home over the harbour bridge (usually we use the tunnel).
And since it was such a beautiful day we decided to stop at the relative new Wollongong Visitors Center at the top of Mount Ousley and take in the glorious views.
Our last stop on the way home was to the Nan Tien Temple for lunch.
You can’t beat that view!
Yes, Sunday was quite gorgeous, wasn’t it?
Manly is busy! I went there a few months ago and it was also really hard to park and busy! And the parking on the street cost us a fortune! Sunday was a really nice day, it was really chilly early on but then warmed up so nice. We got lucky to have such a beautiful day.
I’ve always wanted to go to the Nan Tien temple and I remember you writing about it before, haven’t got there yet but would still like to 🙂
And the view from the visitors centre is cool, I drove past it and noticed it new on when we went to Melbourne last month, will have to check that out too 🙂
Sounds like a lovely weekend Libby
If you get to the temple be sure to let me know – we could meet for lunch. I’m definitely going back in the Spring to take photos of the lotus pond.
