Menu Plan Monday


First normal week with school, after school dance etc, so another pretty easy menu plan. BTW the Chinese Style Fried Barley that I tried last week was a big success – soooo yummy!!! Oh, and I’m going to post some of the recipes over the next few days.

MONDAY : Sweet Potato Risotto

TUESDAY : Mini TVP Loaves with mashed potato (new recipe)

WEDNESDAY : Pasta with Pumpkin Sauce

THURSDAY : Mandarin Soy Fillets with boiled rice

FRIDAY : Brown Rice Salad

SATURDAY : Leftovers or Bean Nachos

SUNDAY : BBQ Tofu and Veggie Skewers

  1. My husband made an attempt with barley but it didn’t work out. He said that you have to soak it first before cooking it. Is that correct?
