Had a pretty successful week last week. The Pasta with Mushroom Sauce was a definite hit – thanks Bel. We didn’t get to the mushroom tortellini bake or the stirfry, and we had nachos instead of the mexi-bean spuds. Still NO LUCK with the bread making – I’ve got another dough just about ready to set to rise so we’ll see how this one goes. I beginning the think homemade bread and me just don’t go together. Some have been okay but none have been anything to rave about and Christy refuses to even try them.
Anyway, onto this week. I’m actually going to be away for the weekend – a scrapbook/relax weekend with some girlfriends. This is our 4th year and I can’t wait.
MONDAY : Chili Con Carne (made with TVP from packet mix)
TUESDAY : Wholegrain Ravioli with Cheesy sauce
WEDNESDAY : Cheesy Tomato Rice Bake (some to freeze) before Disney on Ice
THURSDAY: Mushroom & Cheese Quesidillas
FRIDAY : AWAY – Takeaway or make-your-own pizza
SATURDAY : AWAY – Undecided as yet
SUNDAY : From freezer or cheese on toast

I’ve been wanting to make bread but DH seems to think that it will cost more than buying it from the shop. Do you use a bread maker or bake it in the oven?
