For today : 18th October

IMG_2303

Outside my window… blue skies and sunshine (typical when the school holidays are almost over). Washing on the clothes line and kids craft in mid-project.

I am thinking… about how I never get everything done that I want to do.

I am thankful for…school holidays and extra time spent with the girls.

From the kitchen…weetbix slice still warm from the oven, courtesy of Amy.

I am wearing…a long brown skirt, green singlet top and my blue canvas crocs. Need to change soon for the basketball – it’s pink night!

I am creating…some scrapbook pages and trying to work out how to crochet a granny square (mine keeps turning out as a circle)

I am going…to the basketball tonight. Since Kevin is away we’re taking one of Amy’s friends.

I am reading… Dark of Night: A Novel (Troubleshooters) by Suzanne Brockman and Intuitive Eating: A Revolutionary Program That Works

I am hoping…to finish off our holiday movie and do some sewing tomorrow.

I am hearing…Hannah Montana on the TV

Around the house…it’s suprisingly tidy considering the girls are on holidays (well, if we don’t venture into Christy’s room)

One of my favorite things…watching the vegetable seedings get a little bigger every day.

A few plans for the rest of the week: School and all after school activities start back on Monday.

Here is picture I am sharing…

  1. Love the picture with Rosie in the slippers. You will have to buy another pair to keep her other paws warm. If you remember could you send me the weetbix slice recipe. I remembered it from when you made it one easter holiday and i tried a receipe for it from online somewhere but it was not as yummy as yours.

  2. LOL that picture is a riot!

    YAY for Intuitive Eating

And I always think about how I never get everything done that I want to either. I keep thinking it’s time to start thinking about not doing so much.
