Operation Clean Up : The Wardrobe

Oh boy, I did not realize quite what a big job this would be. Normally I just scan through my clothes and try on a few I’m not sure about. Today I tried on almost everything and was rather ruthless with what I donated. I’ve still got quite a few clothes that are just a little too tight but I wanted to box them up and get out of my wardrobe so I don’t have to see them on a daily basis. Feels good knowing EVERYTHING in there fits and makes me HAPPY!

Wardrobe before Wardrobe after

As you can see it was very tiring for Rosie…

  1. Everytime I clean my wardrobe out….it looks so empty. As i only now keep clothes that fit comfortably, there are not many of those…lol

  2. hi libby, tried to view your video but it said it was private? good on you for doing the wardrobe – just in time for the change of season soon! frugalmama

  3. Hi Libby,
Hope you have had a good week.

I am dreading doing my clothes because I am stuck between the person I was (size18-20) and the size I got down to immediately after surgery (size 10-12) and the size I am now (14). I’ve got such a range. I know I can rid of the 18-20’s but I long to hang onto the 10’s. They just look so small and some of them are so cute.

I am planning on going almost totally organic when I get back from holidays and as that kind of food is so expensive I hopefully will be more mindful of how much I am shovelling into my mouth. Well, that’s the plan. I’m back home on Sunday.

Have a great weekend with you family. Vanessa
