You’ll remember this post from the other day. Well today I managed to get to Spotlight to buy wool for the scarf to match Christy’s new beanie. Isn’t it so yummy?
But let’s not talk about what else came home with me…
To be fair, some is for the big crocheted blanket I’m working on, some for a pair of fingerless gloves and the rest…..it was just so delicious I couldn’t leave it in the shop :-).
I wish I had the patience to learn how to knit. That beanie is awesome! My dd would LOVE it. I know how to crochet but haven’t done it in awhile. Love all your pretty yarns! 🙂
Wool is never a waste Libby. I’m sure it will go to good use. I can’t believe how well you matched up the wool to the beanie. That’s excellent.
Wool shopping is addictive and sometimes it is hard to stop yourself. I think it is the colours and textures, oh and the feel :0)
ah … ’tis the way with yarn shopping, i fear … you’re not the first one to tumble down that slippery slope!! 🙂
Libby, I made Nicky fingerless gloves from that very shade of Harmony wool! She loves them. I will post a photo on my blog.
