I knew it had been a while since I’d had any layouts to share with you but I didn’t realize it had been OVER 6 months. That’s crazy. And sad. I’ve been really struggling about whether to keep going with my scrapbooking. I do enjoy it but kind of feel it’s a bit obsolete with having the blog. So I’ve given myself a Christmas deadline to get back to doing on a regular basis. And in just the last week I have completed the following layouts. It’s funny, the more I do the easier it is becoming, and the more I want to do it.
Expect to see more soon as a big box of goodies just arrived from Scrapbook.com 🙂
I think the urge comes and goes and now I don’t beat my self up about it. At the moment I am working on a hexi quilt and have not touched any scrapping. But I know I will want to again and it’s all there waiting for me 🙂
ps: don’t forget to show us what is in that box!
Love them! You go Libby@ That’s a heck of lot more than me.
Yay for pages!
You know, blogging and scrapbooking don’t have to be mutually exclusive. They complement each other.
And as you know from LOAD, the more you do, the more you can do 🙂
I haven’t done any scrapbooking for awhile, I must get back into it! I don’t think I do as much as you, but the blog is hardly the same to me. I have done albums for each of my girls (they currently have 3 each) which I will give them when they leave home so they will always have lots of wonderful memories to look at. Then we have the family ones which will stay with me (I’m upto number 4) I only scrap important stuff – birthdays Christmases, holidays, dancing, special events etc. And I also do pretty basic layouts. We all love looking back through the albums from time to time. I hope you find your mojo soon.
wow – you HAVE been busy! They all look so good!
They look really good. Maybe you just needed a break. Personally I do both – I know when we want to look at something it’s so much easier to pull out that album and go through it as opposed to having to look for it on the blog. I use my blog to help with my journaling on the “older” stuff.
Great layouts Lib
Great layouts Libby, I think the hardest part is to get started again. I started scrapping again about three weeks ago and have enjoyed it so much. My mojo was gone so I grabbed three months worth of Becky Flecks page maps and that was all I was allowed to use, it seemed to work. Last weekend I spent a lot of time putting packs together using the sketches I already had the kits I get Pip Prossers and Jenni Bowlins kits. Tomorrow I should be able to pull out a pack and everything is ready to go and Im really looking forward to it, Im feeling really inspired to scrap again
Good for you!!! They look great and most importantly you had fun!!
