The Week that Was

It was a very quiet week, with the girls going back to school on Tuesday, then having Wednesday off for Anzac Day. Kevin did renovation work at the office over the weekend so I did lots of planning for our Disneyworld trip. Other than that it was the normal day to day stuff around here.

It was the week of daily trips to the the lake, which is actually clean enough to allow the dogs to swim at the moment….

Not sure where Bailey was swimming to?…

There’s always lots of birds down by and in the lake….

It was the week of more time spent in the kitchen making things like kale chips… for the first time ever…and boy were they yummy….

and homemade tortilla, which look horrible, but tasted devine…..

  1. I have been tempted to make Kale chips but haven’t done it yet. Everyone I know that has made them swears they are great.

I love the doggie pictures! What cuties!

  2. Kale chips?! We have kale at home but it’s for the bunnies–they love it! How do you make them?
BTW, where do you get your hens, Libby? Mum is dying to get some.

  3. Stunning pics, as always… the lake looks amazing.

Don’t tell me the woofers got their own pillowpets too!

  4. I haven’t tried kale chips before and wondered if they would taste nice, I might have to give them a try now:) Your dogs are very cute too lounging around:)

  5. I tasted kale chipss this week for the first time. I thought they were very good.
A co-worker brought them to work for us to try.
AND… being such a Disney Fan myself. I’m dying to know what plans you are making for your upcoming trip. I’m so excited for you.
Oh, maybe it’s a secret and you can’t tell anyone yet. Whatever they are I’m sure you are having a lot of fun planning.
