Day 4 was a pretty lazy one. Unfortunately Harriet had to leave us. The rest of the day was spent reading, relaxing and taking Christy to the pool.
Dinner was a quorn pastry with some sweet potato gems.
Day 5 was a bit more action packed. It started with a yummy breakfast of scrambled eggs, baked beans & mushrooms.
Then I set off on a walk.
I didn’t realize that this was part of the Kiama Coast Walk, which I’ve had on my to-do for since it opened a few years ago.
At the top of the steps I had my first ever sighting of a red belly black snake. Be sure to watch my vlog if you want to see the snake.
These are the markers for the coastal walk.
Looking back towards Easts Beach.
This is over the little bridge and around to the next headland.
I didn’t venture too far as I had no water and didn’t want to be gone too long.
No long after I got back, Christy came back from plaster painting.
I made Amy & I some quesadillas for lunch.
Followed by a yummy cup of tea.
The afternoon was spent relaxing and reading, with a trip to the pool as it was far to windy for the beach. In fact a huge part of a tree only just missed falling on Christy & I on our way to the pool.
Really impressed with this Australian Women’s Fitness mag.
An hour or so later we headed back to the van.
This is what was left of the tree, about half came down.
We had amazing sunset. I had to keep going back outside as it kept getting better and better.
Tonights dinner was a stirfry.
Hi again 🙂 Love the look of that quesadilla! Also, my daughter and I also like the Women’s Fitness mag. It is a good value mag I think. Good luck with getting back into the swing of things Libby.
Those sunsets sure are magnificent.I haven’t seen that tea on the shelves before, but will look out for it, sounds tasty! Great scenic pics again!
Ive done that exact walk too Libby.
