Winter visit to the temple

For my choice of family day I decided on a visit to the Nan Tien Temple for lunch and a walk around. We’ve been having some gorgeous Winter weather but with a cold change due on Sunday, we decided to have day out on Saturday for a change. Athena friend Tara also joined us and both she and Athena had fun taking photos as well.

It always seems weird seeing ponsettias turning red in the Winter. I know they are Winter plants but since they are always sold here at Christmas time, I associate them with Summer rather than Winter.

Most of the leaves are gone from the desiduous trees.

First up we went to the Dew Drop Inn for lunch.

I ordered this soup but it was actually a little bland and was really the first thing I’ve ordered here that I didn’t love.

With full tummies it was time for our walk around the grounds and take LOTS of photos. Enjoy….
