It was the week of lots of lovely early morning walks by the lake…

and it was the week of lunch out with my Mum, Granny and Auntie…

It was the week Kevin bought me all this Goldie stuff…

and the week I finally made it back into the scrapbook room and made a start on my Germany smashbook….

It was the week the girls made and decorated cookies….together….

It was the week Amy attended Comic Gong- a comic convention in Wollongong on Satuday….

and on Sunday Kevin took her up to Sydney to the Doctor Who pop-up shop….

It was the week Kevin decided to remove the overgrown plants at the front of the house….looks so bare now….

and it was the week he left the plants on the grass….

It was the week of dark green polish…

then a change to pink….

And it was the week of sleeping puppies….Bailey…

Rosie…

and together…. Aren’t they just too cute?

It was the week I struggled with a bit of jet lag for the first time ever. I attribute this to starting a 24 hour flight at midnight. NEVER AGAIN!!!

And it was the week I was reunited with Christy who made us this card….

 

and my furbabies…

It was the week Christy got her special year 6 shirt…. still can’t believe my baby goes to high school next year…

And it was the week of a visit to the vets with a sick chicken… who unfortunately was too ill and had to be put to sleep…. Christy and I both shed a few tears (even though she one of the old chooks)…

It was the week of Autumn shadows….

and the week I took advantage of my new stronger legs and started back into my “old”  fitness routine….

It was the week we needed  blankets to keep warm at night (still not quite cold enough for the heater)…

and it was the week I saw signs of Autumn….

It was the week of lovely skies…

and the week Kevin’s new business got some local press….

It was the week of a pretty low key Mothers Day though I did get this gorgeous Swarovski crystal Goldie set from Kevin…

And we enjoyed a nice Thai lunch at Nan’s followed by watching Les Miserable at our place.

4 generations….and no, Amy isn’t really that much taller than us….

It was the week of Mother’s Day gifts…. no chocolate this year as I’m sticking with total sugar free for at least 2 weeks…

Isn’t this tin the cutest? I’d actually seen a poster for it earlier in the week so I was very excited to get it. Only tea bags inside but I’m sure I’ll use them up.

 

It was the week of Mermaid’s Tears….

And it was the week of puppy photo overload (to make up for the last 3 weeks :-))….

So how was your Mother’s Day?

It was the week that started with Easter Monday and a trip to movies with the Powells to see the Croods – which we all really enjoyed…

and it was the week Russ tried to come home with us after we’d enjoyed lunch at the Powells….

It was the week we came home via Bulli Pass (to drop Amy at a friends) which meant we got to enjoy a different view…

and it was the week of lots of lovely sunrise walks….

It was the week Christy was really unwell and had all 4 days off school….

and it was the week I opened the garage door only to have this fall on my feet… can’t say I was too impressed…

It was the week of a lovely day out shopping with Amy where we enjoyed tea and scones for morning tea…

and Mexican for lunch….

It was the week of a jammie day on Sunday (esp. appreciated after our big day out on Saturday)…

which meant I was still in my jammies when we had lunch at Nan & Pops (poor Kevin was at work)….

It was the week I finally got my hands our favourite sauce…

and it was the week of enjoying fresh flowers and candles..

It was the week we left daylight savings time behind, which means it’s time to start lowering the blinds at night…

and it was the week I finally got the Disney portion of our big trip completed. Hoping to get book 2 mostly done before we leave on the weekend….

And it was the week of puppy photos while on walks….

is very overdue. I’ll blame Easter.
