Australia Day was very low key for us. We had a very lazy morning and saw the parade along the waterfront (from our verandah). It was too overcast for our planned beach day, so we decided we’d go out for lunch instead. We went to another of our regular places at Salamander.
Of course, I had to stop to admire this flower :-).
Pop ordered us this bread for a starter. It was SOOOO good.
Then some photos while we wait.
I had a chickpea burger – which was yummy but too big – I should have ordered it without the bread.
After lunch we went for a walk down to the water.
And for the first time ever, saw this sign and well.
We decided to have a quick look around the markets, as they were just down the street from our apartment, but most of the stalls had already packed up.
But I did get to make friends with some sheep :-).
More reading and relaxing this afternoon, and I did do a bit of packing.
Dinner was a delicious BBQ. Can’t believe it’s already the last night.
Afterwards I finished watching Sons of Anarchy. Not happy with then of that series, so I’m going to move right onto the last ever series when I get home.
Don’t forget to watch the video to see more of our day.
I just binge watched 7 seasons of SOA over summer (nothing on TV) and lets just say the ending is :0
