This year we let the girls take over the Halloween Party and hosted a teen party.

Of course, the dogs had to put on costumes too.

Athena was something to do with a band/music video and Christy wore the same costume to go trick or treating in.

It’s always fun to decorate the house for Halloween. This cute fella was a gift from a friend.

And on Halloween night I love to light all the candles.

Athena and her friends helped put together some lolly bags to hand out on Halloween night. They worked so well and we’ll definitely do it again next year

And of course it’s always good to watch Hocus Pocus.

Athena (& friends) decided they were too old to go trick or treating but Christy and her friends headed out.

Trying to catch up with my sadly neglected blog so the next few posts will be heavy on the photos and light on the writing.

With having just been away we didn’t plan much for the holidays. I relaxed, the girls had friends over and went out with their friends. It was nice to have time to regroup. Unfortunately I started feeling unwell again almost immediately after we got home :-(.

The first week was a little cool, the second week it warmed up and we spent time by, and  in, the pool.

Athena’s had a Disney themed party for “old” school friends.

And I returned to walks by the lake.
