As you’ve probably guessed I’ve been up and down with my mood lately so I decided it was time for a bit of pampering – time to update the makeup. It’s been a few years since I had my make-up done and purchased new stuff. So I’m feeling better and happy with my “new” look. Now if only I could get my hair to look decent as it grows….
Wear your Apron Day
Over the weekend I discovered that today (Monday) is National Wear your Apron Day (in the USA anyway). Still being that I spend most of Monday in my cleaning apron I thought it only fitting that I join in the fun. Oh dear, it’s a blurry photo but you get the idea. I have about 4 aprons but 2 that I love. The following is my cleaning apron (al la Anthea Turner – The Perfect Housewife).
The other is my cooking apron – which I bought at Disneyworld about 5 years ago. Still love it.
Hopefully next year on Wear your Apron Day I’ll be able to share some aprons that I’ve sewed myself.

I seem to be stuck in March
Is it really April? I’m not convinced. Yesterday, at a Tupperware party I recieved the April specials. That’s odd, I thought, but I guess April does start in a week or so. Today I was reading a blog and she was talking about her birthday being in April and it being her birthday month. That’s odd, I thought, it’s not yet April. My mum talked about my Grandmothers birthday lunch being next weekend (we’ll be away) and I thought it strange since her birthday is the 11th April.
Ahhh, it is April!!!! I think I totally lost the 10 day we were away for and I still have my mind stuck in March.
