I was going to do my normal blog post about my day but since I’m rather short on time (with just one full day left till we leave for Germany) I’m hoping you don’t mind another video. After all it has all the same photos, just with some extra video. And I did a voice over to explain what was going on.
How to follow our trip to Germany
As you most likely know Kevin, Amy & I are headed to Germany for a 3 week trip with Amy’s school. Christy chose to stay behind at her Nan & Pops (though she is attending a sports camp for one week). So I thought I’d let you know how you follow our trip.
This blog : I’m planning and hoping to be able to blog most days while we’re away. If for some reason I can’t get online, I will post as soon as I’m able. But checking here will be the best way to get the most photos and all the details of our days.
Instagram: I love sharing photos so will be doing as this as much as possible. From here I share with facebook and twitter. You’ll find me everywhere under libbywithnall.
Facebook : Updates will mostly come via Instagram (though sometimes I do share additional photos). I am only friends with people I “know” so please send me a message to say you follow my blog and I’ll accept your friend request.
Keek : I’m new to the world of keek but am thinking this could be a great way of sharing some video while we’re away (YouTube will have to wait until our return). Let me know if you’d be interested in this. You do need to get the app, but it’s FREE.
Now to get packing… at least it looks like it’s warming up for our first day….

The Week that was
It was the week that started with Easter Monday and a trip to movies with the Powells to see the Croods – which we all really enjoyed…
and it was the week Russ tried to come home with us after we’d enjoyed lunch at the Powells….
It was the week we came home via Bulli Pass (to drop Amy at a friends) which meant we got to enjoy a different view…
and it was the week of lots of lovely sunrise walks….
It was the week Christy was really unwell and had all 4 days off school….
and it was the week I opened the garage door only to have this fall on my feet… can’t say I was too impressed…
It was the week of a lovely day out shopping with Amy where we enjoyed tea and scones for morning tea…
and Mexican for lunch….
It was the week of a jammie day on Sunday (esp. appreciated after our big day out on Saturday)…
which meant I was still in my jammies when we had lunch at Nan & Pops (poor Kevin was at work)….
It was the week I finally got my hands our favourite sauce…
and it was the week of enjoying fresh flowers and candles..
It was the week we left daylight savings time behind, which means it’s time to start lowering the blinds at night…
and it was the week I finally got the Disney portion of our big trip completed. Hoping to get book 2 mostly done before we leave on the weekend….
And it was the week of puppy photos while on walks….
