Here’s a photo of my new toys…taken with my old toy.
The Nikon isn’t really mine but Kevin has loaned it to me.
He bought me the new Canon yesterday. Isn’t he a sweetie?. I wondered why until I saw the difference in photos. Both these photos were taken in the same place at the same time of night without a flash…
That’s quite a difference isn’t it? And certainly good news for anyone who reads my food blog.
Enjoy your new toy, that’s awesome! Those big camera’s scare me, lol!
As a long time Canon girl I am impressed with your new toy. The photos are so clear, even with the iso bumped up to 800. Hmmmm maybe it is time to upgrade my Canon G7 🙂
A great camera makes all the difference. I just have a Canon point and click, but my daughter, who is a professional photographer, has a beautiful Nikon and it takes the most awesome pictures. But, one has to understand the fine points of the camera to get the most out of it…if you still use it like a point and click, you’r’e selling your camera short. Oh, have fun, fun, fun with your new toys! Can’t wait to see what you “shoot.”

Great post Libby and very timely as I am on the hunt for a new camera for my birthday next month.
