Kiama – Day 2

IMG_6246.JPG

After a not very good nights sleep I woke up around 5.3oam. It was pretty chilly so I watched some youtube in bed (with a cup of tea of course) for a while before moving into the other part of the van, when my back was too sore to stay in bed any more. I also decided to see if I could upload a video – do you see the time? This would take me 15 hrs to upload at home, and about 4 hrs for Kevin at work. Crazy!!!! But good for now. Might need to move to Kiama because they have the NBN. ie. great internet that we’re not longer getting :-(.

Eventually everyone woke up and Pop arrived to fix some plumbing issues (luckily we’re close to home). The girls played some cards.

And mid-morning we all headed to the beach.

The girls went for a swim while I soaked up some rays and took in the magic that is East Beach.

Christy & I stayed at the beach longer than the girls. But we left when it started to get too windy and headed to the pool, which Christy said was lot warmer than the ocean.

It remained a crazy, windy afternoon. But that did provide us with stunning skies.

We had lunch, lazed about and later in the day Christy & I went for an explore around the park.

Well, actually Christy took the opportunity to practice riding her penny board. It’s pretty flat here and the cars drive slow.

  1. That beach looks lovely, not too busy either. I love camping, and it’s great you only have to pack the car!
