Sharing Saturday

On this very wet, deary and cold Winters day I have nothing much to blog about. The day has been spent driving Amy to and from dance practice and her friends place (still have another one hour round time to make to pick her up). Other than that I’ve been parked on my backside in front of the heater with the laptop and my two best bubs. Pop took Christy to roller skating and she’s knowplaying games on the computer.

So in case you’re playing on your computer as well I thought I’d share some of my new blog discoveries (the ones I’ve been reading for ages you can find in the side bar). As you will it’s a very varied list so there should be something for all of you.

Neble Gluten Free – great menu plans and recipes (esp., but not only, for gluten free)

Annie Jaffrey – found this girl via youtube. She’s just gorgeous (really reminds of Alyssa Milano). She blogs about beauty and fashion.

Creating Wellness – Julie blogs about her life as a Mum and studying to be a Health Coach. Julie and I have a lot in common so I’m sure you’ll enjoy her blog.

Coco Rose Diaries – Love her vintage style home and ALL of her photos.

Rheumatoid Arthritis Guy – Even those I don’t have this type of arthritis (hopefully) this is a great blog to read. Very inspiring.

A Time to Create – Sharon is another Aussie blogger with whom I have a lot in common. She also knits the cutest slippers and takes lovely photos of her local area.

And a couple of favourite youtubers

Organized Like Jen – My favourite organising youtuber. If I need motivation to get to work this is what I watch. Hoping she starts a blog soon.

Candid Mommy – love watching her meal videos – she puts so much love into meal planning, shopping and cooking. And has the cutest little boys.

Sprinkle of Glitter – a British beauty blogger and fun-loving Mum to THE cutest baby.

And just for fun – after watching an episode of Gok today, the girls and I wanted to work out our body shapes. This quiz said I was an apple, but Gok’s one said hourglass, (but at the moment I feel like an apple 🙂 ). The girls were both pears (but they had to guess bust size 🙂 ).

I’m still having lots of fun with instragram. Let me know if you’re there and I’m (libbywithnall) not already following you.

So, what new (to you) blogs have you discovered lately?

June Blogging Challenge

Christmas 2004

Christmas 2004 by libbywithnall

Sam, Amy, Christy and Belle

Ok, I’ve decided to set myself a challenge to blog EVERY DAY in June. It’s like a lot of things – the more you do the easier it gets, so hopefully this will get me back into blogging on regular basis again. I’ve got some ideas – some recipes, organising projects, videos, a tag or two, and maybe some trips down memory lane, etc. but I’m happy to hear any requests of what you might like to see here as well.

I’ll be back later tonight or first thing tomorrow morning for a day in the life post.

Where was I?

One year ago on the 19th of July, 2010 I was in Scotland with a sick child, driving from Glen Coe to Inverness.

Two years ago in 2009 I was in Western Australia travelling with the girls and my parents visiting the Pinnacles.

Three years ago in 2008 I was in Alice Springs with all my family at the end of trip to the middle of Australia.

And 4 years ago in 2007, like today, I was at home doing something totally mudance and unblogworthy :-).

I love blogging because it allows me to take little trips down memory lane whenever I want. What were you doing this day last year?

PS. I do believe I am coming to the end of my cold/flu and will be back to normal very soon.
