Here are the girls all ready to go trick or treating. They go every year with the Ryan family and I stay home and hand out lollies to any trick or treaters. We had a record number this year of around 30 kids.

Christy’s party
Christy’s party was a great success. It was held at an indoor play center and she had 10 friends join her and Amy. She had a wonderful time playing with and showing off for her friends. They played some games like musical statues and musical chairs.
Christy opened her presents.
They had party food.
And birthday cake
First swim of the season
When the forecast was for 24 degrees celsius today I told dh he should put the pool solar heating on as Spring was finally going to arrive. And it did with a vengence. It was hot. 27 degrees I think was the top. Last Sat was cold, wet and rainy, and one week later the kids were in the pool swimming.
The girls (and Kevin) also spent time lazing in the new hammocks that he bought. It was so nice seeing them reading books during the day.
My baby is 7!!!
I can’t believe my baby is 7 years old. She was born on 11th Sept, 2001 hence no-one ever forgets her birthday. She opened presents in the morning and got clothes, a disney princes board game set and her request, a Watch Me Grow Puppy – Golden Retriever of course… as if we need more dogs in this house.
She went off to school with a cake to share with her class.
After school she had ballet and we prepared a little party to have when she got back – all her favourite foods. Then she opened presents from my Aunties and from Nan & Pop (who joined us for her party). I think she enjoyed her special day. On Saturday she’s having a party with her friends.
I got this cute little cupcake idea from Five J’s.
