Christy’s Birthday Party

We celebrated Christy’s 6th birthday yesterday (her birthday is on the 11th) with a party at home. We had 16 kids (13 girls and 3 boys) and a jumping castle to keep them entertained. We also had pass-the-parcel and pin the tail on the donkey and, of course, lots of party food. It was a lovely sunny day (after a week of rain) and Christy had an absolute ball.

School Jump Off

On Wednesday the kids had a “Jump Off” to raise money for the Heart Foundation. I got to go and watch them (in between time working on Canteen). Both girls were so cute and have come along so much with the skipping over the last few months.

Do they accept returns?

I’ve been wondering today if the hospital will accept returns. Yes, I know I’ve had the product for nearly 6 years but right now it’s not performing as expected.

The gorgeous girl above has really been misbehaving lately. Speaking back, yelling, slamming doors, hitting her sister, refusing to go to dance lessons, and generally being difficult. Don’t know what’s going on with her. At the moment we’re doing Supernanny and sending her to the naughty corner or refusing to allow her to go to Nan’s. I must say it’s hard to get excited about her party on Sunday when she’s being such a contrary little Miss. Hope it ends soon – I keep ending up in tears cause I just don’t know what to do with her.
