May in photos

May saw us start back up a  Family Day Out or time together each weekend. We decided to take it in turns choosing what we do. Christy kicked things off with lunch at the Hogs Breath Cafe. We haven’t been here in ages and it was really good. They finally have added about 4 or 5 vegetarian dishes to the menu.

Family Day Out to the Science Center

IMG_4473.jpg

We have started having some family time each Sunday, with everyone (Kevin opted out) taking a turn to choose what we do. This week it was Christy’s turn but with Kevin and myself not feeling the best, she had to select something not too physical. Eventually she decided on lunch out, then a visit to the Science Center.

It was a gorgeous Autumn day out and it was lovely see the trees in the “city”.

IMG_4464.jpg

We had lunch at Zambrero‘s and I had a delicious rice bowl.

IMG_2291.jpg

Then it was off to the Science Center. There are so many memories here and the kids enjoyed remembering all the things they had loved when they were younger.

We saw two shows in the plantetarium, and had a bit of time to kill before the second one, so had some afternoon tea. I opted for tea and a cookie.

Then Kevin decided to have a lie in the sun.

IMG_4508.jpg

On the way out the kids bought some giant microbes. Check the vlog below if you’d like see what they chose.
