Haven’t done a lot of scrapbooking this week, as I’ve been organising my photos for Library of Memories – think I’m finally “getting it”.

Here is the layout I did for Scraphappy‘s 30 minute Thursday. It was fun and poor Kevin doesn’t have many layout about just him – in fact this might just be the second one…

Found this cute photo of Christy and decided to scrap it. Shame she’s not been acting as cute as she looks…..

And finally, todays efforts – Home Defined – a project for my No Place Like Home online class. I’m really enjoying this class – fits in right along with Library of Memories.

Getting ready for Winter

Well, it’s been getting chilly the last few days and we’ve been dragging out the blankets in the evening. Now that we’ve switched back to standard time it seems even cooler. This afternoon it’s pretty cold (and wet) so I decided it was time to drag out the gas heater. This, of course, entails the re-arranged of our loungeroom. Kevin doesn’t like it like this but Amy does. It certainly makes the room seem cozier – which is nice for the cooler months.

I’ve been busy working on my photos the last few days as per my Library of Memories class. And yesterday, I was very excited when a box of goodies, including my new scrapbook albums, arrived.

Thank goodness. I’ve decided to do the weekly challenges on Scrap Happy which I think got me going again. Today and yesterday I’ve been working on a little mini-album of Amy’s 9th birthday.

Here is this weeks challenge – 1 photo of me, 2 buttons, 2 inches ribbon and some bling

Last weeks challenge was 1 sheet yellow cardstock, 2 photos, 3 pieces patterned paper and 4 brads or eyelets.

Once I recovered from cleaning and today’s workout, I went and made a card for a party Christy was attending this afternoon. While I was at it I made up some Easter cards. I’m really happy with how they came out.
