I finally seemed to have gotten out of the scrapbooking rut – thankgoodness. Here’s what I’ve done in the last week or so.

New Years Eve

Mothers Day morning – layout for Gretchen’s 28 Days class at BPS

Summer – using layout sketch for Gretchen’s class last September.

Jamberoo finally scrapped – love how it turned out.

My Job – another layout for the 28 days class

Ride layout – started using a challenge from Lain but didn’t follow the guidelines (like hidden journalling)

The last few days

Gee, do you think someone should tell she’s a bit big to a lapdog?

Not much to report the last few days. The girls had a school disco on Monday night. It was a fundraiser for the RSPCA so the younger ones were asked to dress up. Christy wore her Scooby Doo outfit and was the hit of the night. Amy wore a lizard hat we picked up on holidays (Christy had a dog one but lost it out the car window – after being told that that’s what would happen).

Yesterday I had my hair cut, did a bit of shopping (only spent $9 in the scrapbook store – a record for me for sure), then had my nails done. Last night Kevin & I went round to my friend Sharon’s (her daugther got married today and Kevin was taking the photos). Afterwards we had a date night and went to see “What Happens in Vegas“. Pretty funny and cute.

Today I went to the gym and then into full preparation mode for Mother’s Day tomorrow. We’re now having 12 people for lunch. I’ve made all the dishes, just need to cook and reheat in the morning. Also made up some little gift bags for the Mums/ladies. Finished cleaning around 4.30pm and got do my layout for my 28 Days class with Gretchen. Not real sure about the close up photo but it was the best I could find – I really don’t have that many photos of just me.

Layouts

I did manage to get a layout done based on my current feelings. I put them in this envelope.

I also did another layout but I can’t take the credit for this one as it’s from a kit I purchased at my LSS. I just had to follow the directions. How easy!!!

Cards and layouts

Went to see the new Stampin’ Up catelogue and have a play with the new stamps (Hi Vicki!!!). Lots of fun. Above are the two cards we made.

Came home all inspired and made a card for my cousin’s Engagement Party on Saturday night (close your eyes if you’re reading this Chris & Mel)

Some more cards I made last week.

Layouts I did tonight (now I NEVER scrapbook at night) for the title pages for my Library of Memories albums. I’m pretty pleased how they turned out. The colour is the same as the album.

And finally a couple of layouts I’ve done this week. This one was inspired by Laura Vegas’ layout ‘My little Ballerina‘ (not that mine looks as cute as hers).

I actually added a couple of photos the side of the sisters layout afterwards – from when the girls were younger – just felt it needed something else.
