I cannot believe it’s just over a week till Easter. That’s crazy. I thought I’d better take you on a quick tour of our Easter decorations before it’s time to pack them away. I don’t have a lot but enjoy adding a few pieces every year.

Project Reorganise – The Pantry

Well, I’m happy to report that I can cross one item off my to-organise list. And it really didn’t take very long. I took out quite a few excess cans – to be put into the spare pantry, and did a bit of re-organisation.

Okay, so maybe I’m the only one who can see the difference. It might be subtle but it’s there.

I am just loving the glass jars. Hope I can get ahold of some more soon so I can get rid of the remaining plastic. I need slimmer shelves now though. It’s amazing how your needs/wants can change in just a few years. I’d really love something like this.

And not only do the glass jars look cute, but I love how they are filled with nutritious foods and are crowding out the junk in our pantry.

The Week that Was

It was the week of stunning skies…

and the week I went for a “sunrise” walk with the dogs for the first time in forever….

It was the week of gorgeous pink flowers for the house…

and the week I took dinners, and other goodies, up to my Granny….

It was the week of a few indulgences for me….

and a package sent off to a friend, Lisa, who’s just had a baby….go and see just how cute Charlotte is for yourself….

It was the week of playing with photos…turning this…

into this…

and it was the week we recieved an invite to Christy’s Cafe for breakfast….

wish I’d know the Omelet Surprise was going to be this cute…

It was the week of a lovely Sunday morning tea at the Powells….

and getting to see Russ, who is no longer a puppy, but still cute as ever…

before going to see The Hunger Games in Gold Class. We all really enjoyed the movie. Not sure quite how it would be if you haven’t read the books though. Probably fine, you just might not get everything.

It was the week of naughty Rosie in the garden, before I’d even driven down the driveway….

and the return of Rosie Cone-Head due to hotspots….

And I’m happy to report it was another week of almost daily exercise, only missing Saturday when I didn’t feel well….

Around the house

Today I’m sharing the organising projects that are awaiting my attention. Even though I’m able to get more done these days, I seem to spending the time exercising and playing in the kitchen, which means I’m still not getting to my to-do list. My goal is to get at least one thing tackled each week. Some are quite small jobs, some not-so-much.

In no particular order….

The pantry…again…. I’m in process of changing over to glass jars and am not quite sure how to organise everything now…

My desk drawers…the bottom one is packed full….

My scrapbook desk…these photos have been sitting here for at least 2 months…. the whole room needs doing but this will be a start….

The bathroom cupboard…. things need a big reoganisation once I get under the stairs done….

My wardrobe….again….

Laundry shelves…. a nice quick one….

This angled cupboard….totally not happy with how it’s working…

One of the biggest jobs…my study/everything room….

Under the stairs….there’s a lot of STUFF hiding right under as well….

Oh, dear, the linen cupboard….

Shelves in family room….thankfully another little project…

The craft cupboard….. a lot could really go now as the girls don’t do much crafting….

The loungeroom cupboard…. esp. the overflowing baskets….

Dear me, I’m going to busy for some time aren’t I? Guess this is what happens when you’re basically out of action (except for daily necessities) for over 6 months!
