Yesterday we had the pleasure of going to wedding of our friends Rodney and Angela. Rodney has worked for Kevin for over 10 years (and at one time they worked out of a small room in our old home). Angela also worked for Kevin, which is how they met. I was very moved when Angela started her speech with a special thankyou to Kevin. This wonderful couple also join us every Halloween and Christmas Eve – and both events wouldn’t be the same without them. Kevin was the photographer on the day and he has literally thousands of photos but I took a few so I wouldn’t have to wade through all of his.
The wedding ceremony was lovely. Very intimate and personal. Angela looked like a princess in her dress – I honestly almost didn’t recognise her as she walked down the isle. She was just radiant. Rodney scrubbed up pretty well complete with a top hat.
The reception was perfect.
Angela had even made up wonderful little activity books for all the kids to do. So very thoughtful.
And Amy just loved her pink lemonade.
The wedding/reception was held at The Loft – part of Jamberoo Water Park so we had a beautiful view and Kevin got some great fun photos inside the water park. It kept all the kids talking about coming the park in the summer. Kevin actually had the bridal party standing the water and they all said it was freezing.
And just check out the cake. Yes, that the bride and groom (complete with goatee and long pony tail) with their veggie patch – how cute and personal is that. Makes me want to get married all over again so I can a special cake. It was delicious too – chocolate – Yummo!!!
We were seated with our friends Karen & Len and their kids which made for a very enjoyable afternoon.
