Spring Clean – Pool Pavillion

IMG_1812

When we started designing our home one request I had was a pool pavillion – I so loved the idea of them that we could hang out, read, relax while the kids played in the pool. Unfortunately we didn’t have the funds to make this a reality when we moved in so it became a kind of dumping ground for various bits and pieces of pool stuff and home to our pool lounges – which we always dragged out into the sun to dry out on after a swim.

This week my Mum decided we needed to finally tackle this “room” and so we went shopping. We had a very successful day with nearly everything we bought being on sale – the lounge was actually half price as it was the last one they had. I just LOVE the pavillion room and can’t wait to hang out in it. Kevin already put speakers and lights in the roof when it was built so it really should be a great place to be.

This cushion storage box houses all the pool stuff like towels, googles, flippers.

I just fell in love with these owls (I even bought one for my desk). Helps to distract from the fridge :-).

As you can see it’s already being used as it was intended.

  1. Hi Libby,

Your desk looks spectacular. I am slightly jealous. You should enter my giveaway draw for a brand new sigg bottle. SO far only 2 people are in the draw so chance of winning are high. Just got to http://www.ecomilf.com.au and click on the entry from this past Friday for entry instructions. xo m.

  2. Libby that looks so lovely! I love that outdoor furniture. What a lovely place to hang out!!

You’ll spend many happy days here I’m sure 🙂

I like the owls too – and the lavender next to them – I tried to grow lavender once – I think I killed it with kindness 🙁

I should give it another go…

    Chantel
