Slowly getting back into the rhythm that is normal life! I’ve finally got everything sorted and put away and thought I’d share with you what I bought for myself. I think I was very restrained. I saw so many things I’d love to have bought – some were too big, some too heavy :-(.
You might have noticed the new necklace I bought in Sweden.
I also bought this Matt Jonasson glass etching. I’ve already got some wolves and bears. Little did I know how much I’d love the reindeer we saw in Scotland.
These cute handmade wooden flowers and vase were bought at Covent Garden in London. And they match my kitchen perfectly.
My beautiful set at Matruska dolls.
Gorgeous linen cushion covers from Tallinn, Estonia.
Of course I had to buy a highland cow – to replace the one that Amy lost as a child.
Some bunting. It’s everywhere in the UK and I just love it. Have it hanging in the scrapbook room.
Cute paper serviettes. I don’t normally paper ones but these were too cute to leave (and light as well :-))
Calender, pen set and a Celtic Rock CD.
Some Christmas decorations.
Purse and cheese knife.
And, of course, some food essentials! Galaxy Minstrels for me, Magic Stars for the girls. And those ginger crunch biscuits are to die for!
There were also some teas, a tea caddy and a new mug. Plus IĀ got two pairs of fingerless gloves and those mismatched socks. And a lovely apron.
I’m so happy with everything that I got and it certainly makes me smile and remember some very good times when I see these things around me home.
Now, normal blogging can resume :-).
Shopping on vacation is so much fun and you have brought back things from your travels that mean a lot to you. Nice momentos!

Look at all that awesome stuff but my oh my… those wooden flowers are amazing!
It’s so lovely to have things from your trip around you…to remind you of all the fun you had. Are the girls looking forward to getting back to school, or do they not want the fun travel times to end?
Looks lovely Libby and like you had such a great trip! I think my favourite thing is the blue wooden tulips. I love tulips š x
I love how you bought stuff that you can incorporate into your home furnishings…I have been trying to do that as well, to make our souveniers more meaningful/long lasting memories of our trips! I think it’s great to see something daily with a wonderful memory attached. Those napkins are available here quite readily…I wonder if they’re imported here or there? Lots of cute patterns! Hope you’re adjusting to reg. life again. What a wonderful trip you had- so jealous!
glad you’re back safe and sound, libby! i did try and follow most of your journey, at least all the way back to day 9 or so … phew, that was a lot! i’m sure you’re glad to be back in the routine … when will you have a vacay like that again though? very lucky you are to have experienced it!
You got a lot of loot! Good for you Libby! Wooo, I could eat that whole bag of Minstrels right now š
It’s hard to get back into normal mode huh? Glad you had a good trip! Lots of fabulous photos!
