Christy’s Birthday

I can’t believe that my baby is now 10 years old. Boy, how time flies by.

When she woke this morning it was time for presents in bed….

Her main present from us was a whole lot of Megablock Smurf sets. She was so excited as she didn’t even know they existed.

Breakfast was French toast.

Then it was time to play with the Smurfs.

Then we headed to Forest Grove for lunch.

We were seated outside which was nice, but it was a bit on the cool side.

These are the “baby” swans we saw last time we were here.

We had high tea, and it was lovely, but the service was pretty bad. We arrived at 12pm and didn’t get our food until 1.15pm!

Afterwards we came back to our place as Christy wanted to show Granny her presents. We also did her cake. I cheated and bought this one (as I have to make cupcakes for school tomorrow and her party cake next Saturday). Kevin picked these fancy candles – you light one and they jump from one to other lighting them all.

The girls and Kevin spent the afternoon playing World of Warcraft. Then we had Dominos pizza for dinner. Christy’s request, though she only eats the Cheesy Garlic Bread. While we ate we played her new Harry Potter lego game.
