In mid June I finally had an iron infusion as my iron stores had continued to deplete even with a double dosage of supplements. The procedure was very straightforward and pain free. They even fed me cookies, tea and a sandwich, since I was there over lunch.
The following week after the infusion I suffered with bad headaches and not feeling 100% – pretty much how I’ve been feeling for the last 5 months.
I got to enjoy some of the lovely area that I live when I had an appointment at Austinmer (about 30mins drive from my home). While I wasn’t feeling up to a big walk, I was able to have a little explore and take some photos.
I got back into reading more this month after my friend Gretchen got me onto , starting with this one that Athena had been wanting me to read. Kevin and her went to see it at the movies but I wasn’t allowed as I hadn’t read the book yet (and I wasn’t feeling the best :-)).
I’ve been lucky enough to catch some lovely sunrises ….
and sunsets, without even having the leave home…
There was more cycling the watch on TV…. and now I want to go to Italy so bad…
We had a blackout…
And I’ve had my funny furbabies to keep me company while I spent too many hours on the couch…
There was parent-teachers interviews for the end of term…both girls getting good reports… It’s hard to believe they have finished the first half of the year at Montessori.
and there were drama performances for both the girls… Christy’s class doing an adaptation of MacBeth.
