For this weeks family day Kevin chose to have a picnic at Cordeaux Dam. We haven’t been here since the kids were young. Since Athena’s girlfriend and Christy’s friend were joining us, we decided to take two cars. The dam is only about 30 mins away and we were treated to a very nice Winters day. It was cool and crisp with bright blue skies. After parking we walked across the dam, with numerous stops for photos.
After our stroll we found a great spot to have our picnic. I imagine in Summer you would have to get here very early in the day to grab this spot.
We were treated to an awesome Mexican salad that Athena had made at home.
And after lunch there were some games (and I read a magazine while enjoying some warmth from the sun)
