Sorry I’m late again with this. Monday was a public holiday and then it’s been back to school week :-(.

It was the week that we saw this gorgeous rainbow…

and it was the week I got the okay from the doctor to slowly get back into exercise. Alas I only got out on a few walks…

It was the week of Australia Day. We had a BBQ lunch then I went to the basketball with my Dad. Being Australia Day there was the singing of the national anthem – which used to happen at every game….

At half time there was a best dressed Aussie competition…

The poor Hawks…. our 2 top players suffered major injuries a few weeks ago and it look like we lost another one tonight :-(.

It was the week I realized the Iditarod isn’t that far away and got signed up for the Insider videos…..

and it was the week I saw how one of my photos is going to be used in a Scholastic book. My photo is the croc death roll….

It was the week of a wet, lazy Sunday spent in jammies on the couch watching Tony Robinson’s Time Walks Australia and Game of Thrones…

and it was the week of a softer pink on my nails…

It was the week of very humid weather and an arthritis flare and the week I can across this information – which is rather scary and has me researching the next step to help reduce my inflammation….

and it was the week of just one cute puppy photo….

It was the week that began with a lovely (very slow) walk at the lake with Nan…

and it was the week I was happy to be out and about again….

It was the week of a trip to Sydney to see Amy’s eye specialist – she got a great report which is fabulous…..

and it was the week of a VERY slow trip home – thanks to this truck which had gotten stuck right across 2 lanes of traffic…

It was the week of a visit to IKEA….

where I only bought a few dishes and had a yummy lunch with Amy….

including this delicious gluten free desert that we shared (and made me thinks of Janelle at Nelbe Gluten Free.

It was the week I saw Kevin get some credit for his basketball photos…

and it was the week I got this in the mail as part of an online class I’m taking – such a lovely surprise since I didn’t think they were shipping internationally….

It was the week of a ridiculously hot Friday where the forecast was only 36…..44.1 degrees is about 110F!!!!

It was so hot the chickens were panting and I only left the house to go out and hose them down….

It was the week of a trip to Shellharbour Square where I discovered one of my fav. shops has now opened….

and it was the week I started work on our cruise videos….

It was the week I got to see my cousin Chris and wife, Mel and their cute little girl, Chloe, who reminded me a lot of Amy at that age….

and it was the week of green and then blue nails…

It was the week of amusing puppies….

and some very odd behaviour from Rosie…

 

It was the week that was spent in hospital and then at home recovering from surgery….

and it was the week I sported this beauty of a bruise…

It was the week of a very liquid diet….so thankful that I LOVE soup and smoothies….

and it was the week I received this lovely card from Alejandra, with whom I am taking an online organising course.

It was the week we said goodbye to our beautiful ornamental pears as they were threatening to crack the driveway….

and it was the week of family games on Sunday afternoon….

It was the week I was very excited to paint my nails after having them naked for my hospital stay….

and it was the week of plenty of time for the pups to keep me company on the lounge….

It was the week that began with New Year’s Eve and a morning tea at Nan’s…

for my cousin Greg who is visiting from London….

and it was the week we celebrated New Year’s Eve with a basketball game (for Kevin & myself)….

 

and a late night supper at Nan’s…. and we even made it to midnight (all except for Christy)…

It was the week the year ended with a healthy juice…

and the week the year began with me feeling sick (and having to cancel the Powell’s). Instead the year started with a lazy day on the couch….in my jammies…watching movies….

It was the week of another basketball game, this time with Christy.. unfortunately the Hawks lost both of them….

and it was the week I started using my new day planner….

It was the week of silver nails for new years….

and the week of cute….,

very sleepy, puppies….

It was the week we watched quite a few old movies including Roman Holiday and Gidget…

and it was the week I planned on adding in my project life page but unfortunately my little photo printer has gone on strike.
