It was the week of lovely weather and daily walks to the lake….

though on Saturday you couldn’t see the other side due to smoke haze from burning off….

and the was the week I got to plant-sit Mum’s gorgeous orchids while she is in hospital….

It was the week Chrsity had a trial day at the Montessori High School and came home with this…

and it was the week we got the fantastic news that she has been accepted into the school.

It was the week I was good and resisted buying some of these ornaments (like I normally do every year)….

and it was the week it was warm enough for Christy and Hanna to enjoy the first swim of the season….

which meant it was the week the whole family pitched in to give our outdoor area it’s Spring clean….

It was the week I bought Amy some much needed new pillows for her bed and was impressed to find this stamped onto the pillow….

Much improved…I hate to think how old her old pillows were….

It was the week we had to vote…. this time at a nearby church instead of the school…

Which meant we got to have an explore around the grave yard….

 

It was the week Mum went to hospital to have a brain tumor removed. She was up in Sydney which meant we only got to go and visit on the weekend. Thankfully everything went well and she is recovering nicely….

It was the week of seeing new growth on trees….

and it was the week Amy added some piercings to her ear….

It was the week Christy cooked a batch of choc chip cookies all by herself… some for us, some to take to school to share with friends….

It was the week of Lovely by Natio….

And the week  of a selfie with my girl….

It was the week the started with a gorgeous walk to the lake….

and trying (unsuccesfully) to get tickets to see Bruce Springsteen (who’s coming back to Australia AGAIN next year)…. hoping for another concert to be released….

 

It was the week I ordered some bras and they came in this cute satin bag….

and it was the week I took a boot load of stuff to be donated… Bailey not included….

It was the week of chocolate from Germany….

and the week of a sunny/hot farewell to Winter….

It was the week Christy went to Canberra for school camp….

It was the week of a planned ME day… but it didn’t happen due to this to-do list….

and it was the week I finally got back to doing some yoga…..

It was the week of Father’s Day…with a card made by Christy….

 

a delicious breakfast made by Amy….

and Thai for a family lunch….

It was the week of purple nails for the start of Spring….

and it was week of very tired puppies after a big walk…

and it was the week Rosie and Kevin took a nap together….

It was the week of an extra long walk with my friend Mel….

 

where we walked as far as we could go….

and on the way back we spotted this cute little Spring baby….

It was the week both girls had dress-up days at school for book week….Christy went with galaxy inspired dress…

and Amy went as a test patient from Doctor Who (not sure of the correct name). I thought she did a great job with her makeup….

It was the week of LOTS of time in the kitchen…either decluttering and cleaning, or cooking…..

and it was the week I was pleased to reach 500 subscribers on YouTube….

It was the week Amy & Kevin enjoyed dinner out pre-drama and sent me a photo of their dinner….

and it was the week I made a trip into Wollongong and was shocked to discovered the pedestrian mall is all dug up as part of a major refurbishment….

It was the week I got some new Natio products so I could get the wonderful gift with purchase that they offer….

and it was the week my monthly Lust Have It box arrived….

It was the week Bailey though we’d bought him a new bed…. but Christy was just having a sleepover in our room while her room was painted….

It was the week Christy’s bedroom was transformed from a young girl room….

into a teenager room. Yes, she’s only turning 12 but needs a suitable desk for high school so she is getting her teenager room a year too early. On goes “up, up and away”… quite a fitting name if you ask me…..

It was the week of a trip to IKEA…

to buy new furniture for her room…

and it was the week Kevin bought me some flowers…. which my long term readers would know is a very rare, and very appreciated, event….

It was the week of stone cold nails….

and the week I fell madly in love with my new Natio polish, Wonder….and what a wonder it was at not chipping….

It was also the week of lots of puppy photos. Rosie has taken to lying down and thoroughly licking her bowl to make sure every last bit of food is retrieved….

 

Will someone please fill my kong?

 

Bailey lies so close to heater that his fur gets to be burning hot….but he loves it….

I’m going to stop making excuses for being so slack with my blog. But I have been very busy,and I haven’t been online as much as normal. I’m still trying to find time to fit in everything I want to do!!!

Don’t give up on me yet – I have quite a few posts planned and really hope to get back into a regular schedule.

It was the week I started work on a major declutter and clean of the kitchen (part of the reason I’ve been so busy)….

and it was the week Amy’s new quilt cover arrived….

It was the week I attended a Partylite candle party with Leanne….

where I was amazed to find a HUGE train set in the backyard… and the week I put my foot in it by assuming it was the husbands work!!!!

It was the week of lots of lovely walks to the lake…

and the week of a lovely sunset when arriving home late one day….

It was the week the girls did the 40 hour famine (Amy gave up food and internet, Christy gave up technology), and to celebrate the end we went to lunch at the Perfect Break Cafe in Gerringong…

where I had an amazing veggie burrito…

and later on we ended up at Cold Rock….

It was the week of a brief play for Christy….

and the week she drew me this cute horse….

It was the week of bright pink nails, before the weather turned cold again for a few days….

and it was the week of only ONE puppy photo…. as they were waiting to go over to Nan & Pop’s…..
