It was the week that started with a lovely walk to the lake…

and ended with crazy grey clouds…

It was the week of Halloween…

and lots of treats…..

It was the week the gardenias started to open…

and the week of one of the best basketball games I’ve seen in a long time. Not only did the Hawks win by 30pts, but they scored 100pts! So glad I went, even though I was alone.

It was the week of pink polish…

and the week the girls did some finger painting…and discovered just how hard it is….

It was the week I found this injured baby sparrow… but unfortunately he didn’t make it….

and it was the week Leanne picked up these farm grown strawberries (when she bought Christy home from a sleepover)….

It was the week Kevin headed to Thredbo for the Snowy (motorbike) ride….

and the week I introduced Amy to some of my favourite movies….

It was the week I bought myself some gorgeous roses to enjoy…

And it was the week of budgies…

and exhausted puppies after a walk…. so cute….

It was the week that started out very cold and stormy….

and the week we got caught in the rain…. Don’t I look glamorous ? 🙂 It was cold!!!

 

It was the week I snapped a photo of the main street of my town…. where Christy has tutoring….

and it was the week I had to pick up a parcel from the “local” post office…. yep, it doubles as a laundromat….

It was the week Christy went on a school excursion to the IMAX theatre in Sydney (they are studying Antarctica) and I had to pick her up from the train station…..

and it was the week Christy spotted these very cute ice cream bowls…. which are perfect for one scoop of ice-cream…. at the check out I realized we needed to buy some ice cream….

It was the week of of purple evening skies….

and it was the week of party preparations….

for our Annual Halloween Party.…

It was the week of Bailey is his usual lunchtime viewing position….

and the week I saw Mama bird with her two babies on our back fence…. too cute….the same day I also saw baby ducklings and a baby waterbird.

It was the week I was given these gorgeous flowers from one of Amy’s friends garden…

Simply stunning…..

And it was the week of teal nails…

and Halloween nails… this was a glow in the dark polish….

And it was the week Christy was proud to show her Halloween nails as she has been working very hard not to chew them….

It was the week we finally had some hot, Summer-like weather. I actually spent time by and in the pool on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

And it was the week we got the veggie garden mulched…

It was the week of lots of new flowers and leaves on the trees….

and the week of buying lots of fruit and veggies….

It was the week Christy came with me to the basketball….and the Hawks won again….

It was the week of a BBQ lunch outside….

and the week I spotted these tops that Christy would love…but they only go up to size 7 :-(.

It was the week where one days walk looked like this…

and the week Christy has a swimming assessment.. but we couldn’t get a good time for lessons….

It was the week Christy spent many hours sewing up the dogs destroyed toys….

And it was the week of dogs sleeping on the bed…..

and Bailey getting kisses….

It’s so nice to have had some warm weather (but I type this on Monday it’s gone cold again).

It was the week of very mixed weather….

and a return back to winter….

It was the week of crazy wind, rain and cold on Friday. Around 10am it was just 8 deg outside!!!

Yuck!!!

It was the week the dogs went to the vets for their annual checkup and shots…

followed by a walk near the beach…

It was the week I noticed more signs that it’s supposed to be Spring…. these trees we drive by are all growing new leaves…

and we have buds on our ornamental pears….

It was the week of finding things on our walks… first the dead baby shark….

then some very cute baby snails…at the park… not in my veggie garden :-)….

It was the week I found Christy watching her fav show Good Luck Charlie right in front of the TV….

and it was the week I found a home for the cute little chalkboard I bought at Typo. I started out writing our dinner but have changed to putting todays featured snacks…. makes it easy for the girls to know what they can eat after school…

It was the week these two books arrived in the mail… can’t wait to dive into them both….
