It was the week that started off with a Public Holiday and another visit to Max Brennar Chocolate shop…this time with the family…

I had the strawberries….

while Kevin opted for banana crepes….

It was the week for a play….

and the week we were amazed to find all these Halloween decorations. Unfortunately most were on the cheap & nasty or scary side but we picked up a few things…..

It was the week we started our Halloween countdown that Christy made….

and the week the girls worked on a craft project together….

It was the week Christy fell off her scooter and grazed her face and shoulder….

and it was the week of lots of time spent with her best friend….with sleepovers and roller skating, and lizards….

It was the week of early morning walks on a couple of stinking hot days….

and the week I spent time working on our travel plans….

It was the week of relaxing by the pool after giving the outdoor area a THOROUGH clean…and the week I enjoyed my first swim of the season….

It was the week basketball started again….

and the week the Hawks won their first game of the season….

It was the week we decorated the house for Halloween…

and the week I accidently co-ordinated with the decorations…

It was the week I received this cute reminder from the vets…. and thought the Goldie looked a lot like Rosie….

and it was the week of fun day out shopping with Amy….where we saw the cute Disney range at Peter Alexander….

And it was the week I took this photo of the girls walking along chatting about a book they are both reading….

It was the week of pelicans flying high above our house….

and the week of morning walks…. trying to beat the heat on a few of the hot days.

It was the week of school holidays and 12 teenagers over for the day….. lots of noise and lots of food eaten and lot of fun had…

and it was the week of fondue at Max Brenner with Amy and her friend Harriet…

It was the week the new World of Warcraft was released and I let them eat dinner while playing… while I enjoyed having the TV to myself and having an America’s Next Top Model marathon….

And it was the week my Mum bought me this gorgeous bunch of flowers….

And it was the week I came across this beautiful Bottlebrush on a walk…

They are normally red but this one was pink…. so pretty…

It was the week we went to see Legally Blond the musical….

and silver nails for the theatre…

and Bailey…

And new toys for the puppies…

It was the week of a continuing arthritis flare…. which finally ended on Sunday.

It was the week of bubble fun…

and the week we enjoyed lunch by the pool at Nan & Pops….

It was the week I spotted this HUGE bunny up at Christy’s school….

and the week Bailey and I stopped for a break by the beach after dropping Amy off for a sleepover party….

It was the week of a doctors visit for Christy….

and a myriad of tests, including her very first x-ray. Luckily everything seems to be okay except for low iron and Vit D levels…

It was the week I finally found new beds for dogs…. Rosie now has her very own Princess bed…

It was the week of a reward day on the last day of school…

and once Sunday arrived and I felt good, it was a day of lots of jobs done… including a tidying of the pantry…

the veggie garden weeded all ready for planting…

and lots of groceries bought for the upcoming school holidays…

It was the week one of the parent birds got stuck in our garage…

after 6 hours I finally caught him but he didn’t make it…. the baby birds are no longer in the nest so I hope it was time for them to leave….

It was the week Kevin made me breakfast…

and dinner… on the same day….

It was the week we enjoyed a BBQ at Nan & Pops, complete with this salad…

and the week Bailey watched me enjoy fried rice eftovers…

And it was the week Rosie ended up back in the cone….

It was the week I saw the bottom of my ironing basket for the first time in a long time…

And it was the week of cute puppies….
