It was another week of varied weather….

with an awfully wet Saturday – when I spent 3 hours in the car driving Amy to a dance practice…

and then to and from a friends at Thirroul….

It was the week Christy made french toast all by herself for the first time…

and Kevin headed off for a scuba diving conference in Queensland. Here his is waiting for the ferry (photo thanks to Des)….

It was the week of playing….

and counting down to our Disneyworld trip….

It was the week of Autumn leaves….these ornamental pear trees are always running late….

and a beautiful sunrise….. so miss walking with these….

It was the week of Friday night dinner at Nan & Pops….

where we had a yummy BBQ – vegetarian style…

It was the week where every morning started like this….

and the week of medical tests…including an MRI, x-rays and blood tests…. all to do with my arthritis…

And it was the week of funny puppies….

It was the week of very mixed weather with clouds, blue skies and plenty of rain….

It was the week of fun nails….

 

And the week I received this birthday present from my Auntie…it’s just so perfectly me don’t you think?

and got this funny message from youtube….

It was the week we went to see Men in Black 3….

then headed on down to Gerringong…..

where we had lunch at the Perfect Break cafe again….

where Kevin & I shared the quesadillas….delicious… I’ve decided we need to have something new each time we go….

It was the week of rock climbing….

and watching Hercules for family movie night….

It was the week of searching out some sunny places to have a sunbake….

having a snooze with a friend….

and getting foot rubs….while warming Mums feet….

 

It was the week I celebrated being another year older….

with a lovely high tea made by Amy & Nan….

It was the week of a visit to see my Granny in hospital…she is doing much better now and hoping to be back home soon….

and it was the week of a new look for my nails…

It was the week Christy made a power puff belt…

and had an impromptu singing performance….

It was the week I took last weeks injured dove to the vets, when we found it still hanging around on Monday…. they think it might have been it’s maiden flight as it didn’t have all it’s flight feathers….funnily enough Nan had a dove fly into her window the same day….

and it was the week Amy bought herself this phone cover…cause it had wings…. 🙂

It was the week of cold weekend walks….

and the week of a gorgeous sunset on the way home from dancing at the girls new dance school….

It was the week Bailey enjoyed more car rides…

cuddles with Christy….

and a brush outside….

 

 

Oh dear. I knew I hadn’t been around much but I didn’t realize I wasn’t here all week. Nothing major has happened but I was busy and feeling a little lost and sorry for myself (weight related of course). I think I might make it a challenge to blog every day in June to get back in the swing of things.

It was the week of lovely skies, though we did finally get some rain one day….

and almost daily walks or rides to the lake….

It was the week of a few visits to see my Granny in hospital (as my Mum & Dad are away)….

and the week of medical appointments….first to see my GP….

and then my Rheumatologist (who is retrying me on anti-inflammatories and has ordered more tests)….

It was the week of a big delivery of organic fruit and veg…

and the sighting of Galaxy Minstrels in Coles… these are one of my fav. UK chocolates..I had to buy one packet to share but that’s it!!!!

It was the week I got to catch up with Paola and hear all about her recent trip to the USA…. we started with morning tea at my place and then headed to the Nan Tien Temple for lunch….

It was the week Christy conducted an experiment for school….

and the week this cute dove crushed into our glass door….

It was the week the puppies celebrated their birthdays… Rosie turned 6 and Bailey turned 4….

there was a cake made by Amy….

and some new toys to play with destroy….

And it was the week Christy participated in walk to school day…
