It was the second week of the school holidays, but a much quieter one than last week. I continued enjoying the lack of routine and having the girls at home.

It was the week I was stopped for a random breath test…..

and the week Kevin bought Christy a (toy) radar gun…. can you guess who wants to be a police woman?…..

It was the week I took Christy for a horse ride….

and the week of another shopping with Amy where we discovered another jewellery shop….

and I came home with a few more goodies…

It was the week the girls spent time playing on their computers together…

and the week of brightly coloured nails…

It was the week I finally got the two bags I ordered with my birthday morning (for less than the price of the one fossil bag I had been looking at)….

It was the week I spent the weekend fighting off a sinus infection… grateful I had the tour de france to watch on TV (I tape the live telecast and watch the next day)….

and Kevin spent a number of hours trying to fix my main computer, and then my laptop….

And it was the week of sleepy pups…

It seems I can get to most of my instagram photos and those that I had already uploaded to flickr. So here’s a recap of the week that was.

It was the week of swims at the lake since the water was so clean…..

and the week Amy spent a day in town with her friends – shopping and seeing Brave (again)….

It was the week Bailey and I enjoyed a nice sunset while waiting to pick up Amy….

and the week I had fun playing with instagram to make a new profile photo….

It was the week teenagers took over my kitchen….

when Amy had a group of friends over for the day…

It was the week of a trip to Amy’s neurologist to have the lump in her eye checked – all is good. Not sure if I’ve updated here but her vision is almost back to normal.

It was the week we visited IKEA, where we had lunch….

and marveled at how low the planes fly over the carpark on the way into Sydney airport….

It was the week Amy & I saw Snow White and the Huntsman, while Christy and Nan saw Ice Age 3…..

It was the week of a visit to lush…

and the purchase of some yummy German pastries…

It was the week of notes by Christy….

And the week Christy set my computer to showcase my favourite pins from pinterest…..

It was the week Christy visited the dentist and we found out she’ll need braces in 12 – 18 months…..

and the week of visit from Leanne & her girls and a belated birthday present exchange…. Wasn’t I spoiled? I love it all so much…..

And it was the week of driving to Olympic Park on both Sat, with my Mum, for Tara’s baby shower….

and again on Sunday to visit the Aquatic Center with the Powells…. where the kids and Dad’s had lots of the fun in the water, and Leanne & I chatted….

It was the week of sunny, cool days….and the week I had Christy home sick for 3 days and a teachers strike on 1 day….

It was the week Amy received not one, but two, academic awards at school….not an easy task at a selective high school….

It was the week of ginger gifts from Kevin (from his diving conference last week)….

and a delivery of new Crocs – 2 for me, 2 for Amy and 1 for Christy….

and the week we received our Disneyworld tickets…

It was the week I finally made a bit more progress in the scrapbook room….

and cleared my desk enough to do some pages….

It was the week of finding my Quorn packet not written in English (which it normally is)…

And the week Christy made muffins to take to school (the one day she made it was a reward day)….all by herself….

It was the week Amy attended a first aid course taught by Kevin, and the week was saw, and loved, the movie Brave….

And it was the week of cute puppies….

 

It was the week of gorgeous sunrises….

sunsets….

and blue skies….

It was the week of cold winds…. where black swans tried to keep out of the wind…

and I tried to stay warm…. excuse the bad photo of me squinting into the sun….

It was the week that started with meeting another online friend for the first time for a chai latte….

and the week of Amy’s dance concert….

It was the week of Christy’s best ever report card and a very good parent-teacher interview….

and it was the week Christy washed my car for a bit of extra Disney pocket money….

It was the week of another hospital visit…

It was the week I found this written in the back of an old diary…. Beven Addinsall was on the TV show Young Talent Time… can’t believe I did this when I was just 13….

and it was the week Christy won a tennis trophy….

It was the week the ornamental pear got a bit more orange looking….

and the week we enjoyed Thai for lunch with Nan  & Pop….

It was the week I lost 2.5kg with lots of clean, healthy eating….

and the week of snoozing puppies…
