Foodie Friday

Ready for some more food photos?Unfortunately, due to my sinus infection, I haven’t been spending a great deal of time in the kitchen and most meals have been quick and easy to prepare. I think I’m almost better so the next Foodie Friday should see more in the way of REAL FOOD!!!!

Breakfast surprisingly involved NO green smoothies. Instead there were LOTS of cheese & pineapple jaffles….

As you can see plenty of easy to make meals – relying a bit too much on packets. How do you cope with making dinner when you’re feeling unwell?

Foodie Friday

I’ve been prepared to do this post the last 2 Fridays but leave it to the last minute then something comes up. Once again I’ve left it to the last minute (5pm) so let’s hope I get this published. The girls go back to school next Tuesday so hopefully normality will return soon. So what have I been eating the last few weeks.  Still lots of easy meals as Kevin was away and it’s school holidays. Just over a week ago I made the commitments to go (processed) sugar free again.

Breakfast included a few cheese & pineapple jaffles….

There were also a few green smoothies, but they just aren’t as appealing in the morning when it’s cold.

Lunches included many salads. It’s been great as Amy’s been making them for us.

Do your eating habits change with the season? I used to always have a lot of soup in Winter, but this year it’s still all about the salads (unless it’s freezing cold).

Foodie Friday

Let me start by saying my diet hasn’t been the best over the last two weeks. Once I started eating more sugar, things spiraled out of control quite quickly. So on Sunday it’s back to sugar free for me.

With the cold weather I’ve gone off having a green smoothie for breakfast, and with eating sugar again my food cravings have been all over the place. Breakfast did include some green smoothies.

I also enjoyed some corn thins with hummus and cheese.

Foodie Friday

I’m back with another “slightly late” Foodie Friday. Totally didn’t realized that it was Friday until late last night!!!! Oops.

Breakfast included the usual green smoothie..Sometimes to go….
