It was a week that began with a drive to Sydney at peak hour….

for yet another eye test for Amy…

Followed the next day by a vision assessment to help her at school…

It was the week we visited IKEA….

where we had very yummy spinach and cheese crepes for lunch….

and Amy fell in love with this desk set up (she’s hoping for a re-do of her room for her 13th Birthday in March)….

It was the week we put up the tree…. yep that’s it…no decorations yet… if the kids want them they have to do it… I’m too sore…

It was also the week I put out SOME decorations – probably about half of what we have … and no Christmas village yet….

It was the week I picked up our tickets for Fiji …. only 2.5 weeks till we leave now…

It was the week I received this necklace in the mail…. just in case I forget who I am :-).

and the week I played with adding glitter to the tips of my nails…

It was the week we started the advent calender…no chocolates this year – just little pressies and plenty of things to do…

It was the week I spotted this gorgeous sign at Target…

and the week Kevin & I went on a weekend getaway to Canberra for our 19th Wedding Anniversary…

It was the also week for the pups closeups…. okay who can tell them apart by their noses? 🙂

Another busy, crazy week. Sorry about the lack of posts (again). On top of yucky weather I’ve been having a bit of difficult time with Christy’s attitude and worries over Amy, so it’s not been the greatest week.

However, it was the week we got some new chickens….

they are 12 weeks old and have settled in well…though the 3 old girls don’t seem too keen on them…

It was the week the cold, wet weather returned…

and hung around….

and didn’t go away until the middle of Saturday…

It was the week I had another treatment on my heal spur – too early to say if it’s worked…..

It was the week I realized I must take lots of photos of my feet when I saw this on my blog….

I don’t really think it can be true…. they just happen to get in way sometimes…like when I’m getting a photo of my two pampered pups (check out Bailey lying on his back on the lounge).

It was the week I cleared out the pantry….

and I mean the WHOLE pantry…

and totally reorganised it.

It was also the week Kevin decided to put in some lights in the buffet…so I had to empty that out as well….

but the results are great….

It was the week of bagels and tea for breakfast…and the start of fish oil supplements (to see if it helps my arthritis)….

It was the week it was cold enough for soup….

and lots of hot tea in my new Whittards mug….

It was the week Kevin cooked us a BBQ when the rain finally stopped….

and the week I tried to remember to partake in some simple pleasures…like a bath and painting my nails in the middle of the day….

This is a gorgeous book I picked up from Susan’s – full of gorgeous pictures and lovely ideas.

Oh, dear I’m late getting this post up again. So sorry. It’s been a little crazy around here – bit and pieces happening PLUS lots of pain from my arthritis and heal spur. It’s not very fun to be me at the moment :-(.

But back to last week. It was the week I stated treatment for my heal spur (it’s got an 80% success rate so let’s hope it works for me – then I only have the arthritis to deal with 🙂 )

It was the week I recieved an order from Whittards..

no idea why I did photograph everything, including my new fav cup, but I did photograph the Christmas tea. I’ve had this before and LOVED it.

It was the week Rosie chewed her tail and had to wear the cone of shame….

It was the week we started picking lettuce and tomatoes from the garden…

which is growing like crazy with all the sun and rain we’ve been having….

It was the week Kevin bought a new toy to wash his car… and didn’t wash mine….

he did, however, run lots of cables so my gate remote control in the car works better….

It was the week I wondered if Christy would have tennis lesson…. then I looked at the radar….

It was the week fresh flowers brightened my home again…. along with some fresh eggs….

It was the week of salads enjoyed outdoors….

and lunch with some old friends from the kids playgroup days…

It was the week we enjoyed cookies made by Amy and her friend, Milly…

and quesadillas, made by me …..

And it was the week Bailey maintained his position as the world’s craziest dog….

It was also the week of seeing Cesar Millan and meeting Vanessa and her family at East Beach.

Sorry I’m a bit behind. Had trouble updating photos to flickr yesterday but all is fixed now. It just means you’ll have two posts today- this one and a day in my life (which I’ll get up later today).

It was a bit of a funny week. We had hot weather with a couple of good storms.

It was the week I tried really hard to keep up with my routines – still trying to fine tune it so things don’t get missed.

It was the week I finally started another crochet project – a striped lap blanket. Really happy with it so far.

It was the week I finally rang up and made an appointment to have a treatment on my heal spur. It’s not always successful so here’s hoping it will work.

It was the week Christy got a new outfit for the upcoming dance concert…

and enjoyed playing in the pool.

It was the week of photographing Fudgie….

and Charlie as they enjoyed time outdoors….

It was also the week the pups got new toys… and amazing didn’t destroy them yet…

It was the week I treated myself to this cute stuff (mostly Jamie Oliver) from Target…

and baked a delicious Chocolate Zucchini Bread.

It was also the week I packed up a tub of lollies…

and we made an impromptu trip (only decided on Tuesday night) to Dubbo Zoo.
