Finally a week of blue skies and warm-hot weather (only one cold day this week).

It was the week of more buds on our ornamental pear tree – love watching it fill up more and more each week…

and the gardinias starting to bloom…

It was the week of trick or treating…

and games played with friends….with Kevin away (in Thredbo) for the weekend the girls had friends over all weekend…

It was the week of new Crocs – aren’t they so nice?

It was the week of adding more raw foods into my diet…. looking for a way to reduce my arthritis pain….

and the week I discovered my new favourite juice – carrot, celery, apple, pineapple and beetroot….

It was the week of my high school reunion and a drive by the police station where I once did work experience…

It was the week I found this little bird stuck in our house and rescued him….

It was the week Amy made some vegan cupcakes to take to school….

and I found this lovely looking dessert to make for our early xmas eve lunch with friends….

It was the week I wore shorts for the first time in 12.5 years…. only around the house mind you as it’s not a great look with my compression stocking…

and finally it was week of downward-facing dogs….

Not a lot of photos to share as it was the week I suffered with a lot of headaches and generally not feeling real well :-(.

Another mixed week of wet, cold Winter weather and a few warm Summer days. It was the week of mad children…

It was the week Amy dyed her hair…

and we had another trip to Sydney for more eye tests. We stopped at Miranda on the way home and I bought my fav. Orange biscuits – only available at xmas time…

and some more lush goodies…

It was the week of Halloween preparations….

and our annual Halloween party…

It was the week Kevin bought me a juicer…

and some orange creams from Haigh’s… yep, they sure do go together :-)…

It was the week the girls made their own trick or treat bags…

and I realized that Christmas is just around the corner….

It was the week of a very lazy Sunday lunch….

the week I made the world ugliest green smoothie. Luckily it tasted MUCH better than it looked…

and the week Amy made cupcakes for school…

and for our party…

It was the week of guard dogs…

and dress-up dogs…

Unbelievably it was a week of great weather. It was also the week I got back into my (revised) routine as it was a fairly normal, quiet week.

It was the week I got my new phone… isn’t she cute?

And it was definitely the week of fresh juice and smoothies….

It was the week I discovered Typo had opened in Wollongong…

and I bought myself this cute little mail stand….

and a cookbook stand (since my beautiful glass butterfly one finally broke)….

It was the week I found this huge butterfly in the garden – he seemed to be a bit stuck but eventually flew away…

It was the week I admired Coles new Organic fruit and veg section – then realized everything was packaged in plastic and on foam trays:-(.

and with the warm weather it was definitely the week for fresh fruit. I started making up a huge tray for the girls and I (and any friends) to munch on over the afternoon….

It was the week Amy went to a Halloween Party dressed as an Emo (depressed Goth for those of you like me who have no idea what an Emo is)….

It was the week I discovered the most amazing Hummus EVER….. so sad it’s a limited edition….

and it was the week for lots of yummy new recipes…. quesadillas from Frost Bite….

fiesta salad before the basketball (which we lost)…

and Christy helped me make a delicious beetroot brownie on the weekend…

Of course with the warm weather it was the week of swimming….

And as always, cute doggies to be found….

And it was the week my Mum bought me this box of orange chocolates (she knows what I love)….. they were indeed VERY yummy…

Another week of cold Winter- like weather but gorgeous skies…

It was the week of  two trips to Sydney to see Amy’s Opthomologist…

and yet more testing…

It was the week I was too weak to resist buying these cute melamine plates and bowls….

and Amy got a new phone…

It was the week we dressed in pink for the Basketball for Breast Cancer Awareness month…

Amy was lucky enough to get to sit courtside with her friend….

while Christy and Shantel opted for the very back row…

And there were pink and white m&m’s. I did resist but sent Kevin to buy some to take to the basketball… as you can see we had leftovers…

It was the week of cute birds sitting at the very top of our tree…they often do this…

It was the week Kevin rebuild the strawberry cover…

and we admired the first of the tomatoes…

And, it was the weeks end when we FINALLY got Spring weather…

and it was warm enough to lie out by the pool to enjoy some of the rays…

It was the week Christy (with help from Amy) made Bliss Balls…

and the girls cleaned up, relocated and bought new fish/snails for the fish tank…. love that the two black goldfish are named Jack Black and Jack Sparrow and the two little fish are Thing 1 and Thing 2…

It was the week a few meals out… including breakfast at Clovers…

and lunch at Subway

and Nandos….

Someone is going through a bit of a “don’t take my photo”  phase…. sorry, wrong family for that…. oh, the sunglasses are on because of a test which made her pupils dilate and therefore, very sensitive to light…

And this week there was plenty of Rosie being cute…
