NOTE : Sorry this is a day late. We had to go up to Sydney yesterday and then I couldn’t load up the photos :-(.

It’s been another funny week. It was the second week of school holidays with more cold, wet weather. It was lovely having the girls at home and we managed to spring clean both their rooms.

It was also the week we got our Hawks season tickets and this year we got free t-shirts. Mine’s a bit on the big side so I’m not sure how much I’ll wear it….

It was the week we met Russ….

and Kevin had to break into our safe to get out information so we could get Christy a new passport…

It was the week I spotted Christmas decorations in the stores….

It was the week our Halloween costumes arrived…

I got out the Halloween decorations…

and the girls (and friend Millie)  put them out….though I might have moved a few around :-).

It was the week we visited Grandpa’s farm…

and saw some strange sights around town….

and around home….

It was the week we bought a load of roadside fruit…

and Amy picked mulberries while staying at a friends house…

It was the week Christy tried fresh apple juice for the first time…. don’t think she liked it :-)….

It was the week of the first Hawks game, where we wore our new t-shirts….

and enjoyed our new closer seats :-)…..

It was the week of failed brownies…

and successful scrolls made by Amy…

There were yummy vegetable quesadillas….

and takeaway noodles….

And it was the week of playful pups….

It was a lovely week with the girls home on school holidays. But unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best. We saw days like this….

It was the week Amy and I head up to Sydney for another eye test at the Center for Eye Care…

She had sensers put all over her head and even VERY thins one on her eyes….results in a few weeks….

On the way home we did some shopping at Westfield Miranda and stocked up at the Lush shop….

It was week filled with a lot of craft…

and the making of Halloween invitations…

and a lovely painting by Christy of Kevin & I watching the sunset…

It was the week Christy finished her first sewing project….

and lots of games were played…

It was the week friends came for a sleepover…

and we went to visit with my Aunt, Uncle and cousins. It was lovely to catch up (though Kevin had to work) and Christy loved letting everyone know when “Queen Fiona” wanted to talk….

Christy also had fun climbing their giant tree. If you’ve been reading here for a while you might remember a previous climb.

It was the week I greatly admired my Aunt’s photo display of places they had visited…

It was the week of pizza from the freezer….

homemade soup….

and my fav. fast food – Salsa’s…

It was the week of Rosie being cute…

and Bailey trying out the new lounge for the first time…

And it was the week I found this photo in an old Country Living magazine and found the perfect saying….

It was the week without Kevin, which meant a somewhat easy routine with the girls. It was the week Bailey enjoyed some car rides….

and I found the first blossoms on our ornamental pear tree…

mind you it’s still mainly bare….

It was the week the weather finally warmed up enough to enjoy being barefoot in the garden…

and to enjoy the late afternoon sunshine…

It was the week of wondering just how long before the first strawberries will be ready to eat…

It was the week of making banana chocolate muffins…

Mexican spuds…

and homemade bread…

It was the week of a cold, wet start to the school holidays…

which meant I could make more soup…

and start to make some plans for the school holidays…free printable found here…

It was the week I went lounge shopping with my Mum & Dad….

and Christy tried sewing for the first time…

It was the week of dogs and guinea pigs in the garden… I hope Bailey wasn’t wondering how tasty Jasmine would be :-)….

and it was the week Kevin returned from San Francisco and life returned to normal….

It was also week I gave my blog a new look…. it’s a pre-done one but I thought it was so ME :-)…

It was also, unfortunately, the week my hands and feet started feeling swollen and sore again and my heal spur returned :-(. I’ve already made an appointment to see my Doc again next week. I need some answers and want to know what is going on, even if there is no cure or treatment.

It was a week of funny weather….but it finally warmed up for the weekend.

It the week of Christy’s Dance to fit exhibition at school…

It was the week I noticed all the beautiful flowers in bloom up at the school…

and  painted my nails blue… for Christy’s Smurf party…

It was the week I got some new Partylite goodies. Love that you can put some decoration in the bottom of these. It was a set of three…

the largest is already being put to use… but the berry candle smells so good I’m reluctant to use it :-).

It was the week Kevin left for a week of training in San Francisco…

and got some last minute cuddles from the girls…

It was the week our front side garden started flowering…

and the week the girls made fruit kebabs for afternoon tea…

yum…

It was the week we picked up Christy’s passport application and had her photo taken… does this look like a mug shot or what?…

It was the week of funny pups destroying empty toilet rolls… their favourite game…

And it was the week I enjoyed a few of the fairy cakes I made for Christy’s party….
