It was a very strange week with lots of appointments for Amy. There were show bag for the kids (and Kevin)…

and the toys that come with them…

It was the week of the school fun day – which unfortunately I could only attend for 5mins instead of the planned whole day….

It was the week we planted the vegetable garden, and Christy found a new (warm) bed….

It was the week my baby turned 10….

It was the week Christy played with my carmera at the hairdressers…. which led me to start playing with instragram….

It was the week I made cupcakes for Christy to take to school…

and enjoyed flowers and candles around the house….

It was week of lots of yummy eats…including healthy nachos…..

a vegetarian lasagne….

Carrot and sesame burgers…..

takeaway pizza….with a lego game….on Christy’s birthday….

and a delicious potato and soup when out for lunch with Amy….

It the week Bailey went for  a ride to the plant nursery…

and lined up all four of his paws in a row….

It always amazes me when I come to write this post each Monday that yet another whole week has gone by. So scary how quickly time goes. I mean, it’s Spring now here in Australia…

which means it was the week for the first swim of the season…

It was also the week the flowers all bloomed….

It was the week I enjoyed dinner out in Sydney with my parents (no kids)….

before we went to see Amy perform in the Rock Eisteddford at the Sydney Entertainment Center.

It was the week I paid Amy $20 to weed the veggie garden… and it was worth EVERY penny…

Jasmine helped with the weeding and Rosie played Mum….

It was the week we booked a weeks holiday to Fiji for Christmas with my parents….so excited….

It was the week Amy made cookies to take to school….

and pizza for dinner….

It was the week I made this delicious Pinenut salad…definitely a keeper recipe….

and popcorn…

and a not-so-attractive-but-very-yummy vegetable omelet….

It was the week of some sunrise walks…

and the week Amy made a cell for Science out of chocolate and lollies (the first one of jelly was a flop…literally)

It was the week we celebrated Fathers Day…

and found puppies sleeping…

while watching one of the worst kids movies ever…. Marley & Me – the puppy years…. though Christy liked it :-).

It was the week that Christy’s birthday invitations were sent out…. any guesses what we’re doing?

It was the week I bought some beautiful daffodils…

and starting using the bag I bought on our cruise….

It was the week that Christy made a delicious fried rice for dinner…

and the week I swept away the (hopefullty) last of the Winter leaves…

It was the week we drove to Sydney…

to attend my 2nd cousins (my cousin’s daughter’s) 1st Birthday party…

Such a sweetie… this was my first time meeting her…

Christy loves her (having met her before) and Chloe has replaced cousin Chris (her Dad) as Christy’s favourite person.

It was the week one of our chickens died…. she was sick on Saturday and dead on Sunday…

It was the week both the girls got new Summer shoes…

and I got a gorgeous teapot (Mum & Dad ordered this for me over a year ago and it FINALLY arrrived)… luckily it was well worth the wait..

And it was the week we had a first 3D family movie night…while eating risotto for dinner….

It was the week we saw the first reminders that Spring is just around the corner…

Can’t believe these plants by the front door survived the Winter…

It was the week of a very stressful school P&C Meeting where we passed our proposed new school uniform….

It was the week we said farewell to Kasumi….

and attended the Syonara Party hosted by the high school…

It was the week I made myself a VERY yummy lunch using veggies already cut up in the fridge…

and enjoyed more light in the mornings…

It was the week we saw the Glee movie…

and Cirque du soleil….

It was the week of walks by the lake, once my second lot of antibiotics kicked in on the weekend and I started to feel better…

It was the week Nan & Pop arrived back from a 6 week trip up the East Coast of Australa….

and we had a lovely familyi lunch out before Cirque du Soliel…

It was week Christy cooked a BBQ….not….

It was the week Kevin’s car was smash into…. luckily no-one was hurt…and lucky he forgot to take my new car like he was supposed to…

And it was the week I found this crazy pup totally at home on the lounge…

It was also the week I lost another 1.2kg :-).
