This week saw a VERY early morning start with a drive to Penrith….

to watch Christy compete with her school team for the Futsal State Championships…

This week saw me pack a HUGE cooler full of food to get Christy and I through the day at Penrith…

It was census week…Kevin completed it online…

It was the week the kitchen got a really good clean …on the outside…still need to do the cupboards….

It was the week I bought myself this cute little elephant. Love him and was even more pleased when I found out he was Fair Trade (and was $15 dearer at the zoo!)

It was the week of crazy clouds..

and, of course, the week we welcomed Kasumi into our home..

and went to the zoo…

It was the week I FINALLY got my new car…. yay…

It was the week we had takeaway noodles….

and homemade pizza…

It was the week the pups got some new toys.. we bought 3 so they didn’t fight over the one toy and because Rosie 2-toy likes to have 2 to herself…

It was also the week that ended in a bad sinus infection and trip to the doctors for me. And, the week where I lost 1.5kg at my first Weight Watchers weigh in :-).

It was the week I finally found some flowers cheap enough to buy for the house….

The week was unseasonally warm …. and stayed warm over the weekend…

which meant I could take the dogs on early morning sunrise walks…oh, how I’ve missed these…

The week also included a few runs for the dogs….

It was the week I decided to take action and rejoin Weight Watchers…. so far, so good…

I took Amy to get her hand x-rayed (she hurt it herself dancing last week). There was a small fracture so she had to get a splint made for her thumb from the Hand Therapist (didn’t know we had those!)…

There were Rosella’s spotted at the school…

and the hunt for a new coffee table began…no luck yet…

It was the week I made friends with the gorgeous little calf at our local pet store….

they also had some little lambs but this guy just stole my heart…

It was the week I had do help Amy write out her music homework…while we enjoyed Muffin Tin Monday…

And it was Education Week at school… so on Thursday I got to watch Christy sing in the choir (she’s second from the right)…

watch her do some math work….

and help her make a kite…which didn’t really fly very well as there was NO wind :-(.

It was the week Kevin and I visited two different Bunnings to buy some mirrors, and other assorted goodies…

so I could finish off the spare room which I had started to prepare for our Japanese Exchange Student who arrives on Thursday…

And it was the very rare week where there weren’t many photos taken of cute pups… but I did sneak this one on Sunday afternoon….

while Kevin & I watched Klondike – A Quest for Gold. We had seen this series many years ago and it was the main reason we chose to do the Whitepass Rail trip in Skagway. It was great seeing places like Bennet, where we had stopped for lunch. It took the stampeders 2 months to get to Bennett and we got there before lunch!!!! Crazy!

Finally feeling 100%. But on Friday I had the cancerous mole on my back removed and was told to take it easy and not lift anything :-(.

This week was Christy’s school athletics carnival… her class missed learning how to do high jump….. 🙂

And I had a lovely time enjoying the sunshine – I actually got a bit too hot!!!

The same night Amy was in the Year 7 Raw Rock Estedford – she did fabulous. No photos yet :-(.

This week I finally finished and ordered the photobooks from our trip…

I took the dogs on one walk, and quite a few ride/runs….

This week I had to leave the dogs home alone way more than I like too….luckily it was sunny so I could leave them outside…

This week the pups and I hung out on the lawn while watching Jasmine eat grass and weeds…. and that dot on my nose is NOT a piercing….

She had a wonderful time….

and I realized I really do need to weed the veggie garden….

This week I put all the DVDs waiting to be watched into a box so they don’t fall everywhere….

and I found BOTH dogs in front of the heater, not just Bailey….

This week there were antibiotics taken after the mole was removed…

And there was a Gold Class viewing of Harry Potter – last one EVER, so sad….

And, as always, there were lots of cute puppy photos…. Bailey…

and Rosie 2-toy, as we call her.

This week saw lots and lots and lots of rain….

I still wasn’t feeling 100% so didn’t mind being stuck inside too much. Luckily by mid week I was feeling better and better each day.

All the rain meant some big puddles for the dogs to play when the rain finally stopped on the weekend…

There was a gift from a friend…

There was a big grocery shop and the problem of fitting it all in the car boot (still waiting on my new car)….

There was a new lolly jar and all the lollies consumed….

There was Rosie fixated with dead leaves falling from the tree….

There were coconut date balls made with Christy’s help…

There was the fabulously awesome night out to see Enrique Iglesias…

And on Sunday there was a wonderful back massage at Christy’s Beauty Salon. Best $1 I spent all week. I made another appointment for Wednesday :-).
