It was the week that was crazily busy… which I’m not used to…. and just a few hours a days of watching the Olympics. Favourites to watch – the cycling road races and weight lifting!!!

It was the week of anticipating Spring….the days have been lovely but the nights still very cold….

It was the week of whispy white clouds…

and it was the week of not one, but two visits to the vets…

The first time Bailey had eaten something and couldn’t stop vomiting so he had to stay overnight. Then a few days later Kevin & I took them both in for a diagnosis of staphylococcal dermatitis. Bailey’s was worse and he’s now on anti-biotics. Poor fella. He’s still not quite back to his normal playful self.

It was also the week of 2 visits to the school for Education week….I got to see Christy at work in her class…

and in a school performance…

It was the week I received my very first gold medal…

from Christy….

And it was the week I FINALLY found a wonderful new hairdresser…..before…

and after….if you’re after a great hairdresser in Dapto (and don’t mind a male) I totally recommend Chris at  Revive hair….

It was the week of visitors from school….

and the week Christy drew this picture of her bedroom….love the horse calender…

Lastly it was the week of a funny puppy (before he got sick)….

and the week of a sleeping Rosie…..using my pillow pet….

 

Oh, I’m such a bad blogger. Between the Olympics and school events and trips to the vets it’s been a VERY busy week. Unfortunately that means I can barely remember the details of Tuesday so I’m going to do this post in point form.

* Awake at 5am. Dogs out, tea made, YouTube watched.

* 7am Kevin & Amy leave. I wake up Christy and get dressed. Bring down girls washing to put on.

* Christy borrows some of makeup for her school performance.

* 8am – Breakfast – Choc Protein smoothie and bread roll.

* Seeing this photo on instagram I told Christy about Flight 93 and started crying. Had no idea this still had such an effect on me. She’s old enough now to understand what happened just hours before she was born.

* 8.45am Dropped Christy at school and took the dogs for a walk to the lake.

* It had been cold but was starting to warm up.

* 9.30am Time to visit the dog wash.

* 10am. Home. Hang out washing.

* Blowdry dogs as they were still very wet.

* On the exercise bike for 20mins.

* 10.30am Shower, dress and have some rockmelon. Relax and play on computer.

* 12.30pm Make falafel salad for lunch.

* Enjoy while sitting outside in the sun.

1pm Drive up to school and try to find parking. Going to watch dance performance “A night at the Museum”.

* 1.30pm Kevin arrives just before performance starts (so glad he was able to get away from work – I think it’s the first time ever). Christy’s class did a 60s medliey with hippies and war.

* 3pm – Race to get Amy & Emerson from the bus stop. Drop into the post office to collect a parcel.

* 3.30pm Home. Find Rosie had bites all over her tummy and has been trying to ease the itch.

Time to put my feet up, watch some rowing and read some blogs (so behind at the moment).

* Take dogs outside for a brush. They are always so fluffy after a bath.

*5.30pm Christy has an early dinner before heading back to school (with neighbours) for the evening performance.

* 6.30pm Dinner made by Amy (she offered to make dinner all week so I could watch the Olympics – what a sweetie).

* 7pm Into jammies and cuddle time with Rosie the lapdog.

* Tonight I watch the weight lifting. Don’t ask me why but other than the cycling this has turned out to be my fav. event!

* Head to bed and read a few blogs on the i-pad before lights out.

It was the week of lots of lovely walks down by the lake….

and the week I got back to proper exercise….

It was the week I made some major progress in the scrapbook room….

and the week I discoverer Magic Stars in the supermarket (these were a fav. in the UK)….

It was the week of Harvest Moon nails….

And it was the was the week the 2012 Olympics in London began….

It was the week I spent most of Sunday watching the mens road race….

and the week Christy made this for me….

It was the week of a family lunch…. with my Granny…whom is back at home and doing fantastic….

Our meal concluded with everyone getting their blood pressure tested… as you do….

And it was the week of just ONE puppy photo…. I had a full car so Bailey had to ride in the back… don’t think he was too impressed…

Still having fun and games with my photos but I think it’s finally fixed. Sorry this is late AGAIN.

It was the week the girls went back to school… and the week Christy was off sick for two days.

It was the week I battled a sinus infection and spent most of my time on the couch watching the Tour de France (I’d record it and watch the next day)….

Luckily enough I was well enough to attend Christy’s school athletics carnival….

and soak up some ray….

It was the week I finally felt better by the weekend and was able to take the dogs on a walk…. and got caught in the rain…

and it was the week leaves continued to fall from the ornamental pear trees….

It was the week of playing on the computer  (when not watching the tour) and drinking lots of tea…

and it was the week Kevin and Christy played some world of warcraft together….

It was the week of a new video camera (ready for our upcoming trips)….

and the subsequent painfully/ridiculously slow uploading of a YouTube video….

It was the week Kevin bought home 4 of the cutest cupcakes…. one of which I thoroughly enjoyed after a week of healthy eating….

and it was the week I discovered a fantastic “new to me” green tea… it’s in bags, but otherwise it’s perfect….

It was the week Kevin bought a doggie door… that neither dog could fit through….. it was so funny…. he ordered online but the box show a photo of a beagle… Rosie could get her head through but that was it….

It was the week of cuddles with Kevin… Bailey…

and Rosie….

and it was the week of some time enjoyed outside as we dream of Spring….
